Welcome to our campaign blog! I am traveling all across North Carolina, trying to talk to as many North Carolinians as possible about my efforts to help fix what is broken in Washington. While I have met a good number of you all, there are still so many more I have not yet met. There’s one thing I have noticed as I have traveled across the state — there’s a groundswell of optimism here in North Carolina, rooted in the fact that this is finally our chance for change.
And while the momentum is on our side, we need to keep it up. We have been working endlessly over the past few months, in communities all over the state, building our grassroots organization and talking to folks about what they feel needs to be done to fix Washington. Over the next 63 days, I hope you will join me on our blog to see our work in action.
As I travel the campaign trail, we will be posting updates from the road and profiling some of our campaign activities. My family — Chip, Jeanette, Tilden and Carrie –may even drop in to give you their unique perspective on the campaign. As you know, this is no time to stay on the sidelines, and I hope you will join me online – and on the road – over the next two months.
