State Senator and U.S. Senate Candidate, Kay Hagan, met at Café Portofino in Boone on Sunday evening to speak with the Watauga County Young Democrats about her race and her plans to fix what she believes is broken in Washington.
Hagan also discussed her recently revealed plan to keep our promises to our veterans and the military.
According to Sadie Weiner, of the Hagan Campaign, Hagan comes from a military family. Hagan’s father-in-law is a retired two star general, her husband, Chip, is a Vietnam veteran, and she currently has two nephews serving on active duty.
