Friday/Saturday in Eastern NC: Hagan Holds Gas Station Stop, Holds Third Carolina Family Reunion
GREENSBORO, NC – State Senator and U.S. Senate Candidate Kay Hagan (D-Guilford) will be in eastern North Carolina this weekend talking to voters about her ideas to fix what’s broken in Washington. Kay will begin the weekend on Friday morning at a local gas station in Wilmington where she will talk to consumers and hear more about what the high cost of gasoline means for hardworking North Carolina families. On Saturday morning, Kay will participate in the U.S. Senate forum in Atlantic Beach hosted by the North Carolina Bar Association. At the forum, she and her opponent, Elizabeth Dole, will discuss their plans for North Carolina. Kay will then host her third Carolina Family Reunion in Jacksonville, with her husband Chip and children, Carrie and Tilden, where she’ll meet with supporters and their families for a potluck picnic. Following the Carolina Family Reunion, Kay will speak at the North Carolina Democratic Party State Convention.
