Hagan on Labor Day: Working Families Provide America with a Solid Foundation

GREENSBORO, N.C. – State Senator and U.S. Senate Candidate Kay Hagan (D-Guilford) today released the following statement in honor of Labor Day.

“This Labor Day weekend, we should take a moment to recognize the contribution of working families here in North Carolina and around the country. Our working families provide America with a solid foundation – making our schools vibrant, keeping our economy thriving, and instilling our next generation with the lessons of hard work and integrity, our country’s most sacred values. Unfortunately, the current politics and policies coming out of Washington have ignored working families for too long, choosing instead to make special interests a priority instead of their best interests. With this historic election upon us, it is time to elect leaders who will level the playing field for hardworking working families so that they may once again provide a solid foundation for us all.”
