Statement of Kay Hagan on Senator Jesse Helms' Death

GREENSBORO, NC- State Senator and U.S. Senate Candidate Kay Hagan (D-Guilford) released the following statement on Senator Jesse Helms’ death.
“Jesse Helms represented North Carolina for 30 years, and constituent service, an extremely important part of any public servant’s job, was a hallmark of his time in office. My thoughts and prayers go out to Senator Helms’ family at this difficult time.”
