Today in Pittsboro: Sen. Byron Dorgan Joins Kay for Tour of Piedmont Biofuels, Discussion of Renewable Energy

GREENSBORO, N.C. – State Senator and U.S. Senate Candidate Kay Hagan (D-Guilford) will be in Pittsboro today to tour the Piedmont Biofuels facility with founder Lyle Estill. Democratic Senator Byron Dorgan from North Dakota, a member of the Senate Energy and Natural Resources Committee, will join Kay as she learns more about renewable energy and the positive impact this facility has had on the surrounding community. Pittsboro Mayor Randy Voller is also scheduled to attend the tour.
