Today: Kay Casts Ballot on First Day of Early Vote, Joins Supporters in Greensboro; Headlines Rally at Duke University

GREENSBORO, N.C. – State Senator and U.S. Senate Candidate Kay Hagan (D-Guilford) will cast her 2008 general election ballot on the first day of Early Vote TODAY in Greensboro with family and supporters. Kay will hold a media availability to talk about the importance and convenience of Early/One-Stop Voting and the importance of electing leaders like Senator Obama and herself this election year. After the media availability Kay will cast her ballot.
Thursday afternoon in Durham, Kay will headline a Get Out the Vote Rally at Duke University, sponsored by the Duke Democrats. She will be joined by Governor Jim Hunt, Representatives David Price and Brad Miller, Mayor Bill Bell and other elected leaders and candidates who will join her in emphasizing the need to put working families first.
