Wednesday in Raleigh: Kay Discusses Opposition to Social Security Privatization in Light of Economic Turmoil

GREENSBORO, N.C. – State Senator and U.S. Senate Candidate Kay Hagan (D-Guilford) will continue her “Best Interests, Not the Special Interests” tour on Wednesday with a focus on ensuring that Social Security stay free from privatization, especially in light of Wall Street’s economic collapse. Kay will be in Raleigh to hold a press conference about what could have happened to millions of Americans’ hard-earned retirement savings had the Bush-Dole privatization scheme passed.
